Flying High

It’s hard not to keep coming back to the images that I took on a recent trip back to Lake Eyre.

Even from a height of over two thousand metres things look pretty spectacular around the edges of Lake which will eventually be covered as more water flows in.

Apart from all the patterns and tectures, the colour of the rainwater on the salt pan toward the horizon is really outstanding.

Even though I have selected what I think are the best of the latest images for my exhibition starting at the Prairie Hotel in Parachnilna on August the 4th and running to September 8, I am still finding shots like this that show how extraordinary the landscape really is.
